As I awoke this morning, DIG DEEP…SOAR HIGH was blasting into my head as if it were an audible voice in my room. It continued to repeat and I knew the Lord was speaking.
We must hear the voice of the Lord in 2022. This happens as we continue to dig deep into His Word. We must know His Word to understand His Voice. When His Word is prioritized, we begin to hear more clearly. John 1 tells us that Jesus is the Word and that Word is God.
I heard again, “My people must learn to live above the fray and drama that 2022 will bring’. I believe this can be the greatest year of our lives IF we learn to walk in intimacy WITH God. Dig Deep…Soar High continued to resound in my spirit. Then I heard very strongly Eliminate! Eliminate! Eliminate! And I heard God wants this elimination process to be quick and not linger as we move into 2022. We must eliminate everything that would hinder our walk WITH God. This is every sin, every habit, every thought that would hold us back from following His Voice and Obeying His Word. I thought of Hebrews 12:1-2
- Hebrews 12:1-2 (Amplified)THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, 2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
- Hebrews 12:1–2 (TPT) — 1 As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. 2 We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!
We must eliminate “every wound” (TPT). It is time to let go of the life traumas that we have held onto like prized possessions and move away from and out of what has kept us earthbound in our emotions and thought life. Individually, we must make a choice to take our “trauma trophies” off of our “life’s bookshelves” that we love to display and talk about and continue to make excuses for year after year. As long as we continue to proudly display them, they entitle us to bad behavior and crippling excuses that hinder us from being all God needs for us to be. It is time to stop victimizing ourselves with our past and move on with God. Regrets, guilt and shame all belong to the past. God is telling us He is not a God of the past, but of the PRESENT. ELIMINATE! ELIMINATE!
We must eliminate all emotional and psychological clutter that clings to our souls. We must eliminate anything that restricts or hinders what God wants to do with and through us. Negative thoughts clutter our mind and cloud our souls. It’s time to clean house of self-pity, repeated mental play backs of past wounds, unbiblical labels….
2022 is a year to focus on the Glory and Holiness of God. God is calling us to come apart from all that entices us away from Him. DIG DEEPER…SOAR HIGHER.
This is not an option but a command. This is a command for those who will choose to walk WITH God in 2022. This is a command for those who will choose to DIG DEEP into His incredible person. This is a command for those who choose to SOAR above the drama of life.
DIG DEEP…SOAR HIGH!
