God’s Church

Do we understand the power of the church? When I speak of church, I am speaking of the ones who are following the will of God in the earth. They are many and they are varied. It is not a building but a people that are found in all denominations, nations, communities, ethnic groups. They are a people who seek the heart of God above all else and will not be satisfied with mundane “Christianity”. These are the “sons of God” that Paul speaks of in Romans 8:14 (the mature sons of God who are moved by the impulses of the Spirit TPT) They are a powerful force in the earth and I believe this force is awakening to the cry of the Father’s heart.

This force is not concerned about a political party’s platform, but the will and Word of God. This force will continue to bombard heaven while there are innocent lives being destroyed, injustices being perpetrated, and freedoms being stolen. This force has no personal agenda, but the will of the Father in the earth and with authority they will proclaim the Father’s will in their cities, schools and churches. This force is searching the Scriptures and seeking God in prayer, lest they too fall prey to the influences of the culture. This force is continually examining their own hearts to rid it of that one sin that would keep them out of the Presence of God. (Psalm 24:3-6)

Do we understand that we are the “living gateways” of Psalm 24:7 TPT that says, “So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you.” This force is the gateway that will be present and available for the glory of God to penetrate our cities, schools and government, much like during the revivals where cities were blanketed with the consuming Presence of God and thousands upon thousands fell on their face in repentance. Classrooms and cities will be transformed. Governments will be transformed. Churches will be on fire for God. The Scriptures declare the will of God concerning His earth and His people. Is this what Jesus was thinking when He said we should pray and not give up? (Luke 18:1-8)

God works through His people on the earth. This was established at creation when God gave man dominion and oversight of the earth. (Gen. 1:27; Psalm 8:3-8)

What an incredible privilege and responsibility we have!

So back to my original question: Do we understand the power of the church?
