Maybe a little hard on Thanksgiving but my heart this morning…
..,Thinking of Esther this morning and the parallel today.
So many believers act as though “if I ignore it, it will go away”. What’s worse are the pastors with the same mindset. Some keep preaching the same soft little Bible stories that keeps everyone feeling good and coming back. How dangerous this is!
Instead, preach about the disciples giving all and rejoicing for their suffering for the cause of Christ. Preach about the requirement to fast, pray and repent to save our land. Preach about the murder of innocent lives and the perverted homosexual agenda sweeping our land that is an abomination in God’s eyes. Preach that God promises to heal our land if HIS CHURCH will repent!
How tired are we of hearing “Well God is in control.” Read your Bible! Read Genesis 1:28. Read Psalm 8:4-6. How about Mt 16:18? Does anyone really understand what the “church” is that Jesus built?
NY just had to have Supreme Court intervention to protect religious freedom. California is working to quiet the voice of the church making ridiculous restrictions. Even in NC we see the pendulum swinging.
Don’t think that it will escape your city or state because you feel secure in your man made religious system called church. Don’t think it can’t reach you. Believers we were born for such a time as this. Wake up!
On this Thanksgiving day we have so much to be thankful for!! So many gave their lives for our freedoms. Let’s not develop the mentality that we can sit back comfy and it will all shake out. We are here at this time to fulfill our role in keeping our nation free. This time the danger is from within, as in the day of Esther.
Esther 4:13–14 (NLT): 13 Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. 14 If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”
