Warrior Christianity

Morning Thought:

Once again today I am brought to one of my favorite Scriptures…Prov. 21:22 TPT A warrior filled with wisdom ascends into the high place and releases regional breakthrough, bringing down the strongholds of the mighty.

It is so important to understand who we are in Christ. Only in Him, can we represent Him fully in the earth. We need the body of Christ to understand the need of the hour to be more than just “church goers”. This verse is a powerful testimony of the authority and responsibility of the believer:

1. To be filled with wisdom is filled with Christ. He is our wisdom; God saw fit to give Him His Wisdom; He was before anything else and through His Wisdom, all was created. IN Christ lies all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col 1:15-17; 1 Cor. 1-24-30; Col. 2:3)

2. To ascend into the high place is to move into that place of prayer and worship to God. In this place, declarations are made against the powers and principalities of our region, city, nation. (Eph. 6:10-18; Job 22:28)

3. Strongholds will fall because they must submit to the authority of Christ and His name. (Luke 10:19; Luke 4:18; Phil 2:10; Psalm 91; Ez. 22:30; Mt. 16:19; Eph. 6:10-20; Romans 8:38-39)

We are  the true church and the gates of hell cannot overpower the church. The world is mocking the church. People are filling our city streets, profaning the name of Jesus. Warriors, are we in the high places, bringing down strongholds or do we just have our faces glued to the computer screen or tv looking on as a spectator?   My husband received a word on Dec. 29, 2019 that said “we have a decision for the new decade following…we will either be participants or spectators”. It is time to draw the line and become participants in what God is doing in the earth. Spectator Christianity is not an option today.

Our nation needs the church to arise! Our cities need the church to arise! Our children need the church to arise!. We must choose to be participants and not spectators!
