Getting On Board

The following may sound a little strong to some but i awoke shortly after falling asleep with this in my heart with the urgency to write.

Late last year I had impressed into my spirit on several occasions, “don’t miss the time of my visitation”. I knew what He was saying, “get ready I am beginning to move in a new way.” I am seeing this happen even now, at this very minute.

I believe with all my heart the church, the real church, is the only answer to the situation we have in our nation today. I believe the warrior bride of Christ must arise to the occasion. There is no longer time to be a Sunday Morning social club that goes through the motions of representing a powerless gospel.

Christians need to get over petty emotions of offense, resentment and unforgiveness that limit them from understanding and operating in the power of God. I heard last week again a very sobering message planted deep in my heart. I heard “tell them that there is a window of time available to get things right or those that were called will be replaced”. This is not the time to keep nursing old offenses and this is a trick of the devil to keep God’s people impotent in their calling.

Like it or not, we are at war with the kingdom of darkness and that kingdom wants to only kill, steal and destroy. While we are licking and nursing old wounds the devil is stealing our youth, perverting our schools, addicting good people and killing innocent lives still in the womb. Confusion is rampant in the airwaves of our nation and even attempting to invade the churches with offenses and misrepresentation of one against another. We play the “race card” or even the “God card” to get our way and fearfully tip toe around issues rather than confront with truth. We must know that God’s Truth has no color, gender, denomination, social or political affiliation. Yet justice is perverted (Isaiah 10:1 (NLT):“What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws.”)

The body of Christ must grow up and become the salt and light Jesus said we are to be. I grieve over what I see happening in our land, families and churches. There are those who have eyes but can’t see and ears but can’t hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. Why? Because the hearts are fat, dull and self-focused. (Mt. 13).

For the sake of the children, we must rise up!

For the sake of our nation, we must rise up!

We do not war with fleshly weapons, but the spiritual weapons of God’s truth.

How do we overcome?

Revelation 12:11 (ESV): And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death

1. Applying the blood of Jesus: Born again

2. Using the Word of God: Sword of the Spirit

3. Love not our lives unto death: this is the hard one…more God focused than self-focused.
