Day 5: A Day of Destiny
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God has given to each of us a wonderful destiny of hope and good. Many never find their destiny because they have chosen to take what life had to offer rather than pressing into God and uncovering His plan for their lives. How many are living outside of God’s intended plan for them? Far too many
As we enter into day 5 of our fast, we should remember the promise of God that He has a plan for our lives. Say to yourself “God has a plan for me!” Keep repeating it until you believe it.
2012 is a year of revelation and God wants you to know what His plan is for your life. As you continue in your fast, make it a priority to find out God’s plan for you. Psalm 139 tells us that every day of our life is recorded in the Lord’s book, even before we have lived a single one of those days. The Lord is such a wonderful planner and He is concerned about everything that concerns us.
It is His desire to reveal His plan for your life to you. Ask Him for a glimpse or a vision of what His preferred future is for you. Then make the determination to live your life to the fullest, that is, by His plan!
